| UC Berkeley Law School’s New Business Counseling Practicum is an experiential learning program designed to (1) teach students about law and entrepreneurship, and (2) provide much needed pro bono assistance to start-up businesses with limited resources. The Practicum began serving Bay Area businesses in Fall 2007. Practicum students are drawn from both Boalt Hall and the Haas Business School, and work in teams supervised by a 20 year veteran attorney, supported by a large network of Alumni advisors. Consistent with Boalt’s mission, the Practicum also provides an opportunity for Boalt to contribute substantially to the economic life of its East Bay community. |
