About M.S.M. Jayalatha

Malani is a small scale entrepreneur engaged in multiple businesses. Malani’s family consists of a son and a daughter. Both are schooling. Malini’s monthly income of Rs. 10,000 was not sufficient to take care of her children’s education. Her husband is engaged in a winnowing fan business. He supports the family from that income. She started her business career with a Tea plantation. In the start of her business, she faced a lot of problems with expenditure. So, luckily she became a BMI member and received a loan to buy Tea plants. The loan amount which she received is Rs. 20,000. She showed some significant growth in her tea cultivation with this loan. Since, Malani is expected to start a new business; she started the business of Pharmacy bag making. Since she required the money to purchase bigger stock of raw materials, she applied for another loan of Rs.40,000 to purchase the required raw material for her new business.
